DynaStar™ CMMS/EAM Keyboard Shortcuts

The following keyboard shortcuts are available in all Managers in DynaStar™.

Key	What It Does
F1	Opens the Online Help Manual bookmarked to the current manager
F2	Saves changes and is the same as pressing the the Save Icon on the toolbar
F3	Creates a new record and is the same as pressing the New icon on the toolbar
F4	Clones the record and is the same as pressing the Clone icon on the toolbar
F5	Moves to the previous record
F6	Moves to the next record
F7	Brings up the Part Inquiry screen, which is the fastest way to search for parts
F8	Deletes the currently selected record
F9	Prints the selected record using the Default report for the manager
F10	Closes the manager
F11	Moves to the first record
F12	Moves to the last record
DELETE	Deletes the selected row on a grid

ENTER	on a grid moves the user down one row in the same column on the grid
ENTER	on a new row (coloured data entry row) on a grid places the current row data onto the grid and moves the user back to the first cell of the data entry row, ready to enter new data
TAB	on a grid moves to the next cell on the right of the grid, or if on the last cell of the grid to the first cell of the next row on the grid
TAB	on a form moves to the next form field
SHIFT + TAB	on a grid moves to the previous cell on the left or if on the first cell moves to the last cell of the previous row
SHIFT + TAB	on a form moves to the previous field
CTRL + F	Initiates a search on a Search Tab and is the same as pressing the Find button
